Mountain Flights

Climb up to Everest? Too hard?  Why not embrace this world wonder by flying close to it's peak?  Look at the majesty of the Himalayas and truly understand it's immensity.  Flights depart from Kathmandu airport regularly for one to two hour flights.   Flights are early in the morning when visibility is best.  The recommended season is october-december.  Now mountain flights also take off for all the Himalayan ranges and also beyond to Mt. Kailash and the Mansarover Lake in western Tibet.

Other forms of mountain flights are also catching up. Ballooning and ultra- and micro-lites provide such soaring flights. They offer spectacular views of the Himalayan panorama around Katmandu Valley and Pokhara.
